The Salad of One's Own Garden...

Tonight's dinner was light and refreshing. It was a simple salad.

A bed of shredded lettuce surrounded by baby carrots on the plate's edge, topped with a non-fat Catalina dressing.

Quick, simple, and made with just three little ingredients most everyone keeps.

The name came to me as I was waiting for the page to come up. How amazing would it be to grow your own vegetables? To just walk outside in your back yard and pick your ingredients fresh from the ground. What a refreshing idea, to know that you grew the foods you eat, and know that they are pure and natural.
